His career includes serving as a Senior Relationship Director at Fyda Freightliner, and he currently holds the position of CEO and Founder at Batel Express
Farxaan Jeyte
Vice President
Farxaan Jeyte boasts a rich career in television and media, serving as the CEO of Dalmar RV, the first Somali Television Station in the United States. With a history of aiding and advising numerous Somali businesses in Central Ohio, he currently holds the position of Vice President at the Somali American Chamber of Commerce. Farxaan also serves as a Service Liaison on the Diversity Advisory Committee for the Ohio Secretary of State.
Liban Gurhan
Board Chairman
With more than 20 years of experience in information technology, Liban Gurhan has a proven track record in network and security analysis having worked with numerous private and government agencies. He currently contributes as an Infrastructure Engineer at Channel Inc. leveraging his technical expertise to advance the chamber’s mission.
Mohamud Daar
Technical and Treasurer
Mohamud, a seasoned network engineer, brings extensive expertise in network design, implementation, and operational support. He holds a dual role within the Somali American Chamber of Commerce, serving as our technical expert and treasurer.
