Our story
Somalis are among the world’s most entrepreneurial people, and Central Ohio has become an important proving ground for that spirit.
Families opened shops along Morse Road and Cleveland Avenue, pooled savings through ayuuto, earned CDLs, bought trucks, and built fleets that move freight nationwide. Along the way, they brought new life to local commercial corridors.
SACC exists to organize and accelerate that momentum. We connect businesses to corporate and public sectors, guide entrepreneurs through building in Ohio, and advocate for policies that help our community thrive.
